Privacy Notice
Last updated: 18 August 2026
This notice explains what information the Dreamsong early-access page collects, why it is collected, and the choices you have. It covers this landing page and the early-access email list only.
1. Who operates Dreamsong
Dreamsong is operated by Donal O’Riordan, who is responsible for the information described in this notice.
For any privacy question or request, contact hello@dreamsong.app.
2. Information collected
When you join the early-access list, the form records:
- Your email address
- The date and time of your submission
- The signup source, recorded as dreamsong_landing_page
- The version of the consent wording shown to you
- The version of this Privacy Notice in force at that time
- Your unsubscribe status, where applicable
Nothing else is requested. This page does not ask for your name, and it does not collect dream content, health information or app-usage information.
As with any website, the hosting and delivery infrastructure processes limited technical information such as your IP address and browser request details in order to serve the page and protect the service against abuse.
3. How information is used
- To manage the Dreamsong early-access list
- To send launch news and invitations
- To send relevant Dreamsong offers, including information about the early-member benefit
- To maintain consent and unsubscribe records
- To protect and operate the signup service where necessary
Your information is not sold, and it is not used for advertising or profiling.
4. Legal basis
Consent is the legal basis for sending you Dreamsong early-access, launch and offer emails. You gave that consent when you joined the list.
You can withdraw your consent at any time. Withdrawing consent does not affect the lawfulness of processing that already took place before you withdrew it.
5. Service providers
Dreamsong relies on a small number of providers to run the early-access list:
- Supabase Inc. — storage and management of signup and consent records
- Resend, operated by Plus Five Five, Inc. — email delivery
- Netlify, Inc. — website hosting and related infrastructure
These providers process information only as needed to provide their respective services, subject to their applicable agreements and safeguards. The Dreamsong Supabase database is hosted primarily in the eu-west-1 (West EU — Ireland) region.
6. International transfers
Signup records are stored and primarily processed in the eu-west-1 Ireland region of Supabase.
Supabase, Resend, Netlify or their subprocessors may still process some information outside Ireland or the European Economic Area in the course of providing their services. Resend’s primary processing operations take place in the United States, and its data-processing terms provide international-transfer safeguards, including the applicable EU Standard Contractual Clauses. Supabase and Netlify may likewise use international infrastructure and subprocessors, subject to their applicable contractual safeguards.
7. Retention
Subscriber information is retained until consent is withdrawn or 12 months after Dreamsong’s public launch, whichever occurs first. Following an unsubscribe request, marketing communications will stop promptly and the subscriber information will be deleted within 30 days, except for a minimal suppression record retained where necessary to honour the opt-out.
In practice that means three states: active subscriber information, held while your consent stands; deleted subscriber records, removed within 30 days of an unsubscribe request; and a suppression record — the minimum needed to make sure a withdrawn address is not contacted again.
If you later become a Dreamsong customer, processing connected to the product will be covered by the Privacy Notice that applies to the product rather than by an extension of this waitlist retention policy.
8. Unsubscribing and withdrawing consent
You can withdraw consent at any time by using the unsubscribe link in any Dreamsong email, or by contacting hello@dreamsong.app. Marketing messages stop promptly after a withdrawal is received.
Withdrawing consent applies going forward and does not affect the lawfulness of earlier processing.
9. Data-protection rights
Depending on your circumstances, you may have the right to:
- Access the information held about you
- Have inaccurate information corrected
- Have your information deleted
- Ask that processing be restricted
- Object to certain processing
- Receive your information in a portable form, where that right applies
- Withdraw your consent
These rights do not apply without exception in every situation. Where a request cannot be met in full, you will be told why.
10. Requesting access, correction or deletion
Send any request to hello@dreamsong.app. Enough information may be needed to confirm that the request comes from the person the record belongs to — usually a reply from the subscribed address is sufficient. Excessive identity documentation will not be requested.
11. Complaints
If you are unhappy with how your information has been handled, you can raise a concern directly at hello@dreamsong.app, and you may also lodge a complaint with the Irish Data Protection Commission at www.dataprotection.ie.
12. Cookies and analytics
Dreamsong uses no analytics, advertising or tracking technology on this site. Nothing here follows you between sites or builds a profile of you.
The landing page also sets no cookies and stores nothing in your browser between visits: your sound preference lasts only for the current page session and is forgotten when the page is closed or reloaded. Because there is no nonessential tracking, there is no cookie banner to accept or reject.
13. Changes to this notice
This notice may be updated as Dreamsong’s services or data practices change. The revised date always appears at the top of the page, and material changes will be communicated where appropriate — for example by email to the early-access list.
Continuing to visit this page is not treated as agreement to a material change.
