Terms of Service
A quiet agreement between you and Dreamsong. We've kept it short, and as gentle as everything else here.
These terms apply to the Dreamsong app and the dreamsong.app website. Dreamsong is operated by Donal O’Riordan. You can reach us at hello@dreamsong.app. How we handle your information is explained in the Privacy Policy.
Before public release
Dreamsong is preparing for public release. Features may change, pause or be removed as the app develops, and we can’t promise it will always be available without interruption.
The dream is yours
Your Dreamsong account, and the personal journeys woven within it, belong to you. We simply hold the lantern.
Your private stories, narration and journal stay with your account. AI-generated illustrations are not exclusive to the person they were first created for: after safety, privacy and quality review, they may be added to Dreamsong’s shared artwork library and shown with other Dreamsongs, including after the original account is deleted. The Privacy Policy explains how this works and how to raise a concern about an image.
You may use Dreamsong for your own restful, personal listening, not to resell, redistribute, or train other systems on the stories we generate for you.
Your account
You can sign in with your email address, with Apple or with Google, and link more than one of these to the same account. Use details that belong to you and keep access to them secure. You are responsible for activity on your account.
What we ask of you
You must be at least 16 years old to create a Dreamsong account or use the app. Keep your sign-in yours alone.
Please don’t attempt to break, copy, or hollow out the app. It’s built to help people sleep. Treat it kindly.
The stories we weave
Personalised Dreamsongs and Dream Oracle reflections are created for relaxation, entertainment and reflection, not for medical, therapeutic, or factual use. Curated Dreamtales and Eternal Dreaming soundscapes are separate authored or produced experiences.

Artificial Intelligence and AI-Generated Content
Dreamsong uses artificial intelligence (AI) and generative AI for certain features. Personalised Dreamsongs and Dream Oracle reflections may be generated, personalised, adapted or assisted by AI; generated story text, narration and artwork may also be created with AI. We provide notices where you interact directly with these features.
AI-generated content is produced computationally and can sometimes be inaccurate, incomplete, unexpected or inappropriate despite our safeguards. It is not a statement of fact or professional advice. Dreamsong is for relaxation, entertainment, reflection and general wellbeing. Dream interpretations and reflections are not medical, psychological, psychiatric, legal or other professional advice, and must not be relied on for diagnosis, treatment or important personal decisions.
Where applicable law requires it, Dreamsong may visibly disclose or technically mark content generated or materially altered using AI, including through metadata, machine-readable information or other methods intended to indicate or enable detection of its artificial origin. You must not intentionally remove, hide or bypass transparency labels, provenance information, metadata or technical markings applied by Dreamsong.
Prompts, dream descriptions, preferences and other information submitted to AI-powered features may be processed by automated systems to create the requested experience. Our Privacy Policy describes how personal data is handled in connection with these features.
Unless we expressly say otherwise, personalised AI-generated outputs are created automatically and may not be individually reviewed or approved by a person before you receive them.
Do not use Dreamsong’s AI-powered features to create or attempt to create unlawful, fraudulent, deceptive, abusive, harmful, infringing or otherwise prohibited content. We may use automated or human moderation, technical safeguards and reasonable limits to protect travellers, maintain the Service and meet legal obligations.
Dreamsong seeks to operate its AI-powered features in line with applicable AI laws, including relevant transparency requirements under Regulation (EU) 2024/1689. We may update how these features are disclosed, labelled, marked or presented as legal requirements, guidance and technical standards evolve.
When the journey ends
You may close your account at any time by writing to hello@dreamsong.app from an email address linked to your account. Deletion is completed by a background cleanup that can take some time, and we will confirm when it is finished. The Privacy Policy explains what is removed and what is kept. We may suspend an account that harms the service or other travellers.
Some closing details are handled under the law of your home region. Nothing here removes rights you already hold.
Changes to these terms
We may update these terms as Dreamsong changes. The date at the top of the page shows the latest version, and we will tell you about material changes where appropriate.
